Match Rules
The Following Rules are to be applied to all matches played in COD4.WOWWARS These are in place for fun and fair play Gaming Please follow these guidelines for any matches to be logged as a formal match result
CLANS AND THEIR MEMBERS
All clans must have their own website which is streaming to either Punksbusted or PBBANS. If the server's not streaming then no matches will be played on that server. In the event it fails to stream at short notice before the match then the match can be played on the opposing teams server.
All clans Must provide Admin or W/A Details for opposing clans to be able to contact them, This can br through MSN/XFIRE or simply an email or PM system here at COD4.WOWWARS
All Clans members who wish to particiate within any matches must be a registered clan here at COD4.WOWWARS Also the Clans members have to be registered here and on the clans official website. Any Non registered members will be classed as freelancers and will lead to a default match loss if any freelancers are used for any match play.
All Clans should post up their Website for easy Macth setups with opposing clans,
MATCH PLAY RULES
The main ethos of COD4.WOWWARS is fairplay, Therefore the following rules apply for ingame matches,
1. No jumping in battle - This is exactly that, If you are shooting at someone NO JUMPING, If you are dodging someone shooting at you NO JUMPING, and strictly NO JUMPING AROUND CORNERS
2.Match Play Ruleset - The COD4.WOWWARS ruleset is for fairplay gaming and so the following have been disabled, GL / RPG / MARTYDOM & LAST STANDwith these off it brings the league down to Skill More commonly known as GUN N RUN In the event that any matches are played with the Above settings active will lead to the home clan having a default loss.
3.No Glitch Use- No glitches are to be used on any maps during any match at any time, If its not an easily accessable area of the map accessed by a ladder or a dumster then dont use it. By this we mean having to jump on random objects or rags to get to the desired position. Any Glitches used will lead to a loss for that roundor Map for tht team. Remember the ethos is Fair Play & Fun so stick to the normal boundaries of the maps
Fixtures & Results
All fixtures will be arranged at the start of the season with a selected map choice for that weeks matches. Fixture days and times will be arranged between the two Clans W/A's or CL's. If no arranged date or time can be arranged then the default match day and time will be played which is set to Sundays at 20:00 GMT . Two maps are to be played in Domination mode switching half way to allow even balances with both sides. As previously stated 1 map is preset the other map is the choice of the Home team for that fixture. All maps should be given to the opposing clan at the time of match arrangement.
All Match results should be posted by the winning team in the match result section in the following format
BOG
CLAN A 452 - 364 CLAN B
CROSSFIRE
CLAN A 256 - 562 CLAN B
TOTAL
CLAN B WINS
926 - 708
The result is then to be confirmed by the loosing team, Once confirmed the scores shall be entered to the table. If the match is not confirmed within 48 hrs of the match winning post then the score will be entered as is. The 48 Hr period is the official time to enter a dispute if there is one.
MAP CHOICES
Only suitable maps are allowed to be chosen these are all the stock maps plus the new maps whith the exclusion of the following
Shipment
Wetwork
Killhouse
These are all deemed as unsuitable for match play
Disputing A Match
In the event of a dispute the result will not be entered untill the dispute is resolved. For a dispute to be logged the following guidelines should be followed,
All PBSS of the the match are to be forwarded to an admin with the demo recordings from both teams
Please state what the dispute is and what at point of the match
If the dispute result is found to have no valid evidence or breach of rules then the result will stand, In the event rules were broken then the result shall be overturned
Be sure to record all matches this can be done by following these steps
OPEN CONsOLE WITH YOUR GRAVE KEY
TYPE THE FOLLOWING /record demoname
TO STOP RECORDING TYPE THE FOLLOWING /stoprecord
Keep all demos for atleast 7 days after the match, if no dispute is logged or requested and you have heard nothing or the result has been entered upon confirmation then its safe to delete these files
MATCH MODES
The league match modes are as follows
Domination - Teams are to be a minimum of 6 v 6 for any of the league fixtures which are played. You may raise this player limit but should be agreed by both clans upon arrangement of the fixture
Team Death Match - Teams are to be a minimum of 3 v 3 for any of the league fixtures which are played. You may aise this player limit but should be agreed to by both clans upon arrangement of the match.
FFA MODE - Teams here are simple 1 v 1 Any map may be chosen for this mode due to the size of some of them. Therefore the 3 smaller maps not allowed in Dom or TDM can be used here in the FFA League.
CANCELLING A FIXTURE
Any fixtures that have been arranged should be kept to as best they can to avoid any conflicts. If a team has any problems and cannot make an arranged fixture they must give the opposing clan notice with in a 24 hour period. Any no shows or failure to cancell without the appropriate notice period will lead to a default win for the opposing clan.
